Get into the top three of your local Map Pack.
Three businesses appear above the search results when somebody looks for what you do nearby, and most people never scroll past them. Which three is not random. Google names the signals it uses, and a gmb optimization service is really just working through them in the right order.
Local ranking depends on proximity and competition as well as on your profile. The free position check tells you which of the three is holding you back.
What is a Google Business Profile, and how does Google rank it?
A Google Business Profile, formerly Google My Business, is the free listing that puts your business in Search and Maps, including the Map Pack. A gmb optimization service works on what that listing says and how complete it is, which is the part you control.
Google says it ranks these results on relevance, distance and prominence. Relevance is how well your profile matches what was searched. Distance is how near you are, and you cannot change it. Prominence is how well known you are, on and off Google. Two of the three are work, and this page is about those two.
This band is the boundary with Local SEO. This page explains the mechanics. The strategy around them is a different page and does not repeat any of this.
Everything your profile needs to win local
One programme. Each piece strengthens a signal Google actually names, which is what separates google optimization services from a monthly report.
Review Generation
A system that asks every customer at the right moment, and stays inside the rules while doing it.
asking for reviews compliantly →Review Management
Every review answered, including the difficult ones, by a person rather than a template.
answering what people write →Listings and Citations
One set of business details, consistent everywhere Google looks for them.
fixing your business details →Suspension Recovery
A suspended profile diagnosed and reinstated, then protected against the same trigger.

Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. Toggle the signals we work on and watch the position change. These are the same signals Google names in its own documentation, not our interpretation of them.

Simplified for illustration. Real ranking also depends on proximity and competition, which no amount of profile work changes.
From claimed to competitive, in order
A transparent, four-step system that turns a thin listing into a Map Pack contender.
Audit and claim
Profile and local presence audited, verification fixed or claimed, gaps mapped against the six signals above.
Optimize fully
Categories, services, attributes, photos and citations. Most of the movement comes from this step and most of it happens in the first month.
Grow reviews and posts
Steady review generation, weekly posts, fresh media. This is the slow half and it is what holds the position.
Track and refine
Map Pack position, calls and direction requests monitored monthly, and the signals adjusted against what moved.
Local wins our clients can measure
Local results should be judged on a position, a date and what the phone did. Case studies with all three publish as each client approves them. Until then, here is the work.
A trades business with a miscategorised profile and eleven reviews, rebuilt signal by signal starting with the category nobody had checked.
Good service, nothing to show for it. Given a request system that fitted how they actually see patients rather than one that assumed a front desk.
Diagnosed, corrected, reinstated, then protected against the same trigger firing again.
Named case studies with verified metrics publish as each client approves them.

Built on real E-E-A-T, not promises
Local ranking rewards genuine prominence, which is a polite way of saying it rewards businesses people actually talk about.
Done, not theorized
Hands-on profile work across home services, dental, legal and multi-location brands, including the profiles that arrived suspended.
Local search specialists
Google business profile optimization services done by people who read the guidelines rather than guess at them, which matters more here than anywhere else in search.
Named and credentialed
Every profile is led by a named specialist. If a change to your listing was wrong, you know who made it.
You own the profile
We work inside your listing as a manager. The profile, the reviews and the data stay yours, and you can remove our access at any time without losing anything.
Every figure comes from profiles we manage.
Google's own documentation is linked rather than paraphrased.
Every claim is fact-checked before publishing, and the page is dated.
Results shown are representative of client engagements and are not a guarantee of future performance.
Your profile is one part of a bigger local engine
Local SEO
The profile and the website rank together, so the website half of the same problem decides your ceiling as much as the listing does.
the website half of the same problem →SEO
Organic rankings feed profile prominence, which means the organic work around it lifts the listing as a side effect.
the organic work around it →Web Design
A profile visit that reaches your site has to convert, so carrying the reviews across to it finishes what the listing started.
carrying the reviews across to it →Social Media
Complaints arrive on social first, which makes the channel they arrive on part of the same job.
the channel they arrive on →AI Receptionist
The profile's whole purpose is to make the phone ring, and turning calls into bookings is what stops those calls going to voicemail.
turning calls into bookings →Your Industry
