Get your suspended Google profile reinstated.
A suspension almost always has a specific cause, and it is usually something recent: an address change, a name that added keywords, a category edit, or a virtual office. The appeal only works if the cause is fixed first, which is why appealing straight away is the commonest reason a profile stays down.

Operating commitments, not predicted outcomes. Reinstatement is Google's decision, never a guarantee we can make.
Why do Google Business Profiles get suspended?
There are two kinds. A soft suspension means the profile is still live but no longer verified, so you lose the ability to edit and some features disappear. A hard suspension removes the listing from Search and Maps entirely, and it is the one that costs money immediately.
Both are usually triggered by a specific, recent change rather than by anything historic. That matters, because it means the cause is findable. Google publishes the guidelines the suspension was measured against, and the first job is working out which line was crossed.
Six common causes, and what fixes each
Almost every suspension we see is one of these. Find yours here and you already know what the appeal has to say.
| # | Trigger | What it looks like | The fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Keywords added to the business name | "Smith Plumbing" became "Smith Plumbing Houston Emergency 24/7". | Revert to the name on your signage and your paperwork, exactly. |
| 2 | A virtual office, mailbox or coworking desk | Google requires staffed premises during stated hours. | Use an address that qualifies, or convert to a service-area business with no address displayed. |
| 3 | A service-area business displaying an address | If you go to customers rather than them coming to you, the address must be hidden. | Hide it and set the service area properly. |
| 4 | A category change that misrepresents the business | Adding a category you do not genuinely operate in. | Revert to categories that match what you actually do and can evidence. |
| 5 | Multiple listings at one address | Common in shared premises and multi-practitioner clinics. | Consolidate, or evidence that each is genuinely a separate legal entity with separate staff. |
| 6 | A recent ownership or detail change that tripped a review | Nothing wrong, just a change large enough to flag. | Documentation proving the business is what it says it is. |
The appeal is the easy part. Identifying which of these applies to you is the part that decides whether it works.
Suspension recovery is part of a bigger system
Four more pieces of online reputation, each covering a different part of what shows up when someone searches for you.
Google Business Profile
The single most-viewed page about your business, and the strongest lever in local search.
managing the profile itself →Review Generation
A system that asks every customer at the right moment, and stays inside the rules while doing it.
asking for reviews compliantly →Review Management
Every review answered, including the difficult ones, by a person rather than a template.
answering what people write →Listings and Citations
One set of business details, consistent everywhere Google looks for them.
fixing your business details →The honest boundary. Not every profile comes back. A business that genuinely does not qualify under the guidelines cannot be argued back in, and no amount of appealing changes that. We will tell you on the first call rather than after an invoice.
Once it is back, the ongoing work is managing the profile properly, which is also what stops it happening twice.
Four stages, in this order
The order is the method. Filing before diagnosis is how recoverable cases become permanent ones.
Diagnose
Which of the six causes applies, established from the profile and its recent history.
Correct
Fix the cause. Appealing before this step is why most appeals fail.
File
Reinstatement request with the evidence Google asks for, prepared to their format.
Protect
A review afterwards, so the same trigger does not fire on the next edit.
What our clients have actually seen change
Keywords added to the business name over two years, reverted to the name on the van.
A coworking desk, converted to a service-area business with the address hidden.
Filed by the owner before the cause was fixed. Diagnosed, corrected and refiled.
Named case studies with verified metrics publish as each client approves them.

Built on real E-E-A-T, not promises
Reputation work is where the shortcuts are most tempting and most expensive. We do the slower version because it is the one that keeps compounding.
Done, not theorised
Profiles claimed, optimised, suspended and reinstated across local service businesses, including the ones that arrived already in trouble.
Specialists, not generalists
People who read the review and listing guidelines directly, rather than repeat what a competitor's blog post said about them.
Named and accountable
A named specialist owns your account. Every reply we post is one you could have written.
We tell you if it will not work
Some profiles do not qualify. Saying so on the first call costs us the job and saves you the fee.
Every target is set against the businesses actually ranking above you, in your market.
No gating, no incentives, no bought reviews. Those work briefly and then cost you everything.
What was filed, accepted or refused is reported as it happened. We do not claim wins we cannot show you.
Figures shown are representative of client engagements and are not a guarantee of future performance.
What we commit to, in writing
We will not guarantee reinstatement. The decision is Google's, and any firm promising a certain outcome is selling you something they do not control.
We diagnose before we file. A single evidenced submission beats a series of rushed appeals, which mostly generate refusals that make the case harder.
If the profile breached the guidelines in a way that cannot be corrected, we will tell you that rather than take a fee to keep appealing.
Named client stories for this service publish here as each one is verified. We do not run invented quotes in the meantime.
This is one part of a bigger reputation
The profile, the reviews coming in, the replies going out and the listings that have to agree. Each one limits the others.
SEO
A suspended profile takes your local rankings with it, which is why the rest of local search matters more while you are down.
the rest of local search →Paid Ads
Ads keep running while a profile is suspended, so paid cover during the outage is worth considering for the weeks it takes.
paid cover during the outage →Web Design
Your site still ranks while the profile is down, which makes the pages people land on your only route in for now.
the pages people land on →AI Receptionist
Calls still come from the site and from ads, so making sure they are answered matters most when the profile is not helping.
making sure they are answered →Your Industry
Some categories are suspended far more often than others. See how it differs by industry.

How long does reinstatement take?
Will I lose my reviews?
Why was my profile suspended without warning?
Can I appeal myself?
What happens if the appeal is rejected?
Priced as a fixed piece of work rather than a retainer, because reinstatement has an end point. How our pricing works.
